Gold Rush: Tamil Nadu Govt Gave 6,099 kg of Gold to Poor Families Under Marriage Assistance Scheme Since 2011

The AIADMK government under Jayalalithaa started a gold distribution scheme and till February 2021, 12,50,705 beneficiaries have been provided with 6,099.08 kg of gold worth Rs 1,791.05 crore.
